Dongallo overcomes rookie jitters enroute to record rookie debut

MANILA, Philippines: Casiey Dongallo exploded for a rookie debut record of 27 points to lead the UE Lady Warriors to a 20-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-18 win over the Ateneo Blue Eagles at the start of the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday, February 17.

On paper, Dongallo looked like she just flat out dominated but in reality she said that she had to overcome the usual rookie jitters, having felt the nervousness brought by the loud crowd and bright lights of the game.
