Feb 16, 2024 8:01 pm
Department of Environment and Natural Resources Farm Worker II Felipe Sore Jr. and Forester Erisa Joy Arcillas lead the exploration of Apugan Cave, which was discovered inside the La Mesa Watershed in Quezon City, on Friday, Feb. 16, 2024. Arcillas said the cave is not yet open to the public because they are studying and preparing the system for receiving tourists, particularly the pathways and structures that will facilitate the entry and exit of visitors. Arcillas said that they are looking forward to receiving guests and educating them regarding Apugan Cave and other caves in the country.PHOTO BY RENE H. DILAN
