Lawmaker asks DA to help onion farmers

NUEVA ECIJA: A lawmaker has asked the Department of Agriculture (DA) to help farmers affected by the armyworm infestation in the province.

Nueva Ecija 3rd District Rep. Rosanna 'Ria' Vergara has received complaints that several onion farmers have been affected by the armyworms, locally called 'harabas,' in the towns of Laur and Bongabon, and Palayan City.
