PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. directed the Department of Agriculture (DA) to ensure that supply and prices of basic commodities are stable in view of the effects of El Niño, which now affects 41 provinces, Malacañang said Tuesday.

The President issued the directive during a sectoral meeting in Malacañang, where Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. gave updates on the supply of basic commodities.
