SPEAKER Ferdinand Martin Romualdez on Tuesday ordered the House Committee on Health to review the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) charter for the purpose of expanding patients' benefits.
A statement from the Speaker's office said the order targeted an increase in benefits that would cover at least half of the costs in private wards "and the provision of free examinations for the early detection of deadly diseases" such as cancer.
