Kris Aquino on her 53rd birthday: 'I refuse to die'

MANILA, Philippines: Kris Aquino, who is celebrating her 53rd birthday this February 14, had some negative news — she was diagnosed with a fifth autoimmune disease. Moreover, her heart is 'so swollen' she is at risk of cardiac arrest.

But the indomitable woman assures her supporters, 'I refuse to die... I am 53 now and I want to still be here when I am 63.'
