Retired ambassador Lauro Baja Jr.passes away

MANILA, Philippines: The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Monday announced the passing of retired former ambassador Lauro Baja, Jr., the Philippines' former permanent representative to the United Nations.

The DFA described Baja as 'an admired diplomat and devoted public servant.'
