CFW PAYS COURTESY CALL TO DOLE OFFICIALS The Confederation of Filipino Workers (CFW) pays a courtesy visit to Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma and Undersecretary Benedicto Ernesto Bitonio Jr. at the conference room of the Office of the Secretary at the DoLE Building, Intramuros, Manila, on February 7. Represented by National President Gabriel Aranzamendez (photo below, center) and Vice President for Finance Angelina de Ocampo (photo below, left) and together with the representatives of three local unions, namely Elwin Sebastian (photo below, second from left), vice president of CFW Bataan; Marcelo Mendoza (photo below, second from right), union president of Universal Weavers; and Randy Sarmiento (photo below, right), local vice president of Universal Weavers, the CFW also airs concerns pertaining to members’ working conditions and status in the company for which they are working, seeking assistance in availing the services and programs of DoLE to help augment the income of the members.
