DEPARTMENT of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Assistant Secretary for Strategic Communications Romel Lopez reported that the department provided prompt assistance to the families affected by a fire in Puerto Princesa on Wednesday, February 7.
Lopez said that the DSWD Mimaropa Field Office has provided 200 family food packs, 200 sanitary kits, and other nonfood items to people whose houses in Pagkakaisa and Bagong Silang villages were destroyed by fire.
