MANILA, Philippines: Several lawmakers thanked President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. who announced that displaced Overseas Filipino Workers have received their back pay from bankrupt Saudi Arabian companies.
Marcos said that 1,104 indemnity cheques from Alinma Bank of Saudi Arabia worth P868 million had been processed through the Overseas Filipino Bank and Landbank of the Philippines.
