Cagayan gov offers to bridge PH-China relations

AMID tension between Manila and Beijing over a maritime dispute, Cagayan Gov. Manuel Mamba has offered his province to serve as a bridge to promote Philippines-China friendship and cooperation.

Mamba made the offer during his meeting with Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Nong Rong in Fuzhou City in China's Fujian Province, where he attended the opening ceremony of the 2024 Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean)-China Year of People-to-People Exchanges on February 2.
