THE Department of Agriculture (DA) has ordered a comprehensive evaluation of the Solar-Powered Irrigation System (SPIS) amid concerns over reports of neglected and non-functional units.
Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel said that the review will be conducted with assistance from the private sector, spearheaded by former Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol.
