Meralco affiliate eyes venture with PhilTower

MANILA Electric Co. (Meralco) on Wednesday said that affiliate Miescor Infrastructure Development Corp. (MIDC) was looking to form a joint venture with Phil-Tower Consortium Inc. (PhilTower).

'PhilTower and MIDC have announced their intention to form and invest in a JV that will wholly own PhilTower and MIDC to meet the growing demand for 4G and 5G mobile network infrastructure across the Philippines,' Meralco said in a statement.
