MANILA, Philippines: Generally fair weather conditions are expected in most parts of the country on Wednesday although there will be scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon or night due to the easterlies, according to the state-run weather agency.
Specialist Robert Badrina of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the easterlies, winds coming from the east, passing through the Pacific Ocean and bringing warm and humid weather, will particularly affect Davao Region, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Southern Leyte and Bohol.
