MANILA, Philippines: Sen. Ana Theresia "Risa" Hontiveros sought an inquiry into the recent attempt by alleged China-based hackers to target Philippine government agencies, including those involved in safeguarding the West Philippine Sea (WPS).
The senator sought the inquiry on Tuesday after the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) said that the hackers are believed to be operating from China.
