1M people expected at Binondo's Chinese New Year

MANILA, Philippines: More than a million people are expected to join the celebration of the Chinese New Year and the 430th founding anniversary of Binondo on February 9-10, the city administrator's office in Manila said.

Administrator Bernardito Ang said Tuesday that about a million people visited Binondo and joined its New Year's activities in 2023, the first grand celebration after the Covid-19 pandemic.
