Whenever you announce a selection of players to a team, there will always be opinions on who were left out and who deserves to be there. It never fails. Whether it's an All-Star game, the national team, Barangay mosquito, there will always be complaints. That's how freedom of speech works. It's not always accurate or constructive, but it will always be interesting and fun.
When discussing the All-Star selection, we need to remember these parameters: The starters are decided by the fans (50% of the vote), current players (25%) and media (25%).Thus, the debate is only regarding the seven All-Star reserves for each Conference. These reserves are selected by the coaches.
