All forms of criminality down nationwide — PNP

MANILA, Philippines: The Philippine National Police (PNP) said Monday that it has dramatically reduced all forms of criminality nationwide.

During the flag-raising ceremony at Camp Crame, PNP Chief Gen. Benjamin Acorda Jr. said the crime situation greatly improved — there was a 27.79 percent decrease in index crimes or from 3,573 in January to February 2023 down to 2,580 in the same period in 2024.
