MANILA, Philippines: Parading a new coach and a slew of new recruits, Petro Gazz opened its PNVF Champions League campaign with a 25-11, 25-19, 25-19 sweep of Philippine Army at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum on Sunday, February 4.

Brooke Van Sickle, a standout from the US-NCAA, made a strong Philippine debut as the Filipino-American delivered 16 points for the Angels, who played their first game with Japanese coach Koji Tsuzurabara.
