MANILA, Philippines: The stage is set for the first leg of qualifier for the national team next year as action kicks off in the Gateway 2 Senior Fencing Championship Sunday, February 3 at the Gateway Mall 2 in Araneta Center Cubao, Quezon City.
With a total of seven legs, this year's qualifier for the national team is very important since the best fencers will represent the Philippine Team in the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games to be staged in three cities in Thailand from December 9 to 20 next year.
