THE Philippine Red Cross (PRC) has vowed to help the country fill the shortage in health care workers as it said it will support 12 more students from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine (UPCM).
"We are the biggest full scholarship provider of the UPCM. This year, we will add 12 more students from UPCM Doctor of Medicine-Master of Public Health (MD-MPH) in our scholarship program," Philippine Red Cross Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Richard Gordon said on Friday.
