Jersey Marticio, one of the country's promising female junior chess players, walked away with back-to-back titles in the past two weeks.
A student of the King's Gambit Online Chess School, the 16-year-old Marticio topped women's division of the 3rd CEFAG Rapid Chess Tournament then followed it up with an amazing 7.5-point performance in eight rounds against male junior players in the 2024 Sta Maria Under-17 Chess Challenge.
