MANILA, Philippines: Senate President Juan Miguel "Migz" Zubiri said on Wednesday that the Senate will now proceed with the hearings on Resolution of Both Houses 6 after President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. expressed doubt that people's initiative was still an option as a mode to amend the 1987 Constitution.
Talking to reporters in Hanoi, President Marcos said the administration was gathering inputs from "the best constitutional minds" on how to come up with a solution that would not create too much controversy.
