Sara thanks Marcos for 'trust,' respects family's opinions

MANILA, Philippines: Vice President Sara Duterte on Wednesday said that she is thankful for the trust and confidence that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has been giving her by allowing her to continue running the Department of Education and respecting her views on issues.

She also said that while she respected the opinions of her father, former president Rodrigo Duterte, and her brothers, Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte and Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte, she did not necessarily agree with them.
