PH, Vietnam seal trade, maritime deals

HANOI: The Philippines and Vietnam on Tuesday signed several bilateral documents on rice, trade and cultural cooperation, as well as incident prevention and management in the South China Sea.

Most notable are the memoranda of understanding between the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and their Vietnamese counterparts to foster peace and prosperity between the two countries and the rest of the Southeast Asian region.
