(UPDATE) THE People's Initiative for Reform, Modernization and Action (Pirma) admitted that it joined forces with House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez and other representatives to gather signatures for the people's initiative (PI) to pursue Charter change (Cha-cha).

At the start of the inquiry on Tuesday by the Senate Committee on Electoral Reforms and People's Participation on the reported bribery in the collection of signatures, Pirma convenor Noel Oñate said he sought the help of Romualdez to achieve the 3 percent signature per congressional district, a requirement for PI to push through.
