MANILA, Philippines: The Philippine Catholic Church called on the faithful not to sign or agree to any petition that calls for constitutional amendments without careful discernment, discussion, and prayer.
The Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) made the call as it expressed concern about the signatures being gathered for the People's Initiative on Charter Change.
