THE Philippine economy grew by a slightly stronger 6.0 percent in the third quarter, state statisticians said on Tuesday ahead of the release of preliminary fourth quarter and full-year gross domestic product (GDP) data.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) revised the July-September figure from the 5.9 percent announced in November last year.
