THE International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) and global chemical company BASF will collaborate to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) from rice production.
In a statement on Wednesday, IRRI said that the partnership will enable the reduction of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions by 30 percent per ton of crop produced by 2030.
