TOKYO: Japan's average unemployment rate in 2023 stood at 2.6 percent, unchanged from the previous year, government data showed on Tuesday.
The rate, although lower than 2.8 percent in 2020 and 2021, was higher than the 2019 level when it hit 2.4 percent, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.
