Customs chief eyes P1-T collection for 2024

THE Bureau of Customs (BoC) will aim for a trillion-peso revenue collection in 2024, slightly higher than the P959-billion target the Department of Finance (DoF) has assigned for the agency.

Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio said on Sunday that 'collecting P1 trillion' is a big challenge for the bureau as it is P41 billion higher than what the DoF has set.
