UGEP targets 700 MW of solar projects

SOLAR energy startup firm Upgrade Energy Philippines (UGEP) is targeting to install 700 megawatts (MW) of commercial and industrial solar rooftop and ground-mounted projects by 2028.

These include a 13.81-MW roof-mounted solar power project for JG Summit's Merbau facility in Batangas City and another 50-MW utility-scale solar project in Luzon.
