THE rehabilitation of the Pasig River may finally be realized under the administration of Ferdinand Marcos Jr. after many similar efforts in the past. Former first lady Amelita "Ming" Ramos initiated a fundraising drive to fund the cleanup during the presidency of her late husband Fidel V. Ramos. And in the previous administration, its Environment secretary, the late Regina Paz "Gina" Lopez, also pushed for reviving the river that cuts across Metro Manila.
