Volvo Group 2023 profits jump by 17%

STOCKHOLM: Swedish truckmaker Volvo Group reported a jump in last year's profits on Friday but warned that demand is set to slide significantly throughout 2024.

The company, which also makes buses and construction equipment, said net sales increased by 17 percent in 2023 to 553 billion Swedish kronor ($53 billion).
