(UPDATE) PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will take up maritime issues, agriculture and trade cooperation with Vietnam when he visits Hanoi next week, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Friday.

In a pre-departure press briefing in Malacañang, Foreign Affairs spokesman Ma. Teresita Daza said the President, first lady Marie Louise "Liza" Araneta-Marcos, and other key Cabinet officials will be in Vietnam from January 29 to 31 on the invitation of Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong.
