MANILA, Philippines: The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Friday there was a "low chance" for a tropical cyclone or low pressure area (LPA) to enter until the end of the month but rains will be experienced in parts of the country due to the shear line and northeast monsoon.
Weather specialist Benison Estareja said the shear line, where the hot and cold air converge, was expected to dump a significant amount of rain over Visayas and parts of Mindanao.
