SEN. Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go, during the 42nd Anniversary celebration of the Lung Center of the Philippines (LCP) in Quezon City on Wednesday, hailed the institution's crucial role in Philippine health care.
"The Lung Center, as one of the specialty hospitals, has a significant role in the implementation of the Regional Specialty Centers Act. As the hospital with the highest capability for lung care, the Lung Center of the Philippines will provide specialty training and technical assistance, in collaboration with the DoH (Department of Health), to specialty centers to ensure delivery of quality services," said Go, chairman of the Senate Committee on Health and Demography.
