LeBron, Curry headline star-studded US

(UPDATE) LOS ANGELES, California: LeBron James, Stephen Curry and reigning NBA Most Valuable Player Joel Embiid were named among a 41-strong player pool for the USA's 2024 Olympics basketball roster on Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila).

The star-studded roster will be whittled down to a 12-man squad for this summer's Olympics in Paris, where the United States will be chasing a fifth consecutive gold medal.
