MANILA, Philippines: The shear line where the hot and cold air converge has resurfaced and is bringing rain over the eastern section of Southern Luzon, including Bicol Region, the state weather bureau said on Thursday. Weather specialist Benison Estareja of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that they have not monitored any tropical cyclone or low pressure area (LPA) inside or outside the country's area of responsibility at least until over the weekend.

'We could expect another generally fair weather in most parts of the country except for scattered or isolated downpour and thunderstorms in the afternoon or at night,' the Pagasa forecaster said.
