LGUs' digitalization efforts raise tax revenue collections to P208B

MANILA, Philippines: The digitalization efforts of the local government units (LGUs) resulted in an increase in their tax revenue collection to P208 billion from P50 billion in 2018, Interior Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. said Wednesday.

Abalos gave an update on the compliance of LGUs on the digitalization of government services following a sectoral meeting with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in Malacañang.
