Eala, partner advance in ITF India doubles event

MANILA, Philippines: Filipina tennis ace Alex Eala has advanced to the next round International Tennis Federation (ITF) women's doubles event in India on Tuesday.

Paired with Latvia's Darja Semenistaja, they defeated Japan's Eri Shimizu and Chinese Taipei's Li Yu-yun in three sets, 6-7, 6-1, 10-7, to advance to the quarterfinals.
