THE National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) led by Chairman Emmanuel Franco Calairo and Executive Director Carminda Arevalo unveiled the historical markers "Ang Pagdating ng Pan Am China Clipper sa Pilipinas" and "Arrival of the Pan Am China Clipper in the Philippines" at the Manila Yacht Club, Roxas Boulevard, Manila on Jan. 20, 2024.
They were joined by Commodore Idelfonso Marco Tronqued and other officials and members of the Manila Yacht Club and Ambassador MaryKay Carlson of the Embassy of the United States of America to the Philippines.
