UN rapporteur arrives in Manila

UNITED Nations Special Rapporteur Irene Khan arrived on Monday for a 10-day official visit to examine the Philippines' state of rights to freedom of opinion and expression.

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) posted on X (formerly Twitter) that Khan will conduct her mission in the country from January 23 to February 2.
