THE proposed Anti-Financial Account Scamming Act (Afasa) is likely to be passed into law by May of this year, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Senior Assistant Governor and General Counsel (SAGGC) Elmore Capule told reporters in a briefing on Saturday.
"Last week we had another committee hearing in the Senate and it's favorable. Even the industry is supporting it," Capule said.
