Three-term senator Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr. has consistently advocated for the passage of impactful legislation benefiting various sectors. Notably, he is the principal author of Senate Bill No. 2028, widely known as the "Revilla Bill," aiming to broaden the coverage of Republic Act No. 10868, also known as the "Centenarians Act of 2016," to include individuals reaching the ages of 80 and 90. The measure has been approved by both Houses and awaits the President's signature.

Revilla is also the main proponent of Senate Bill No. 1964, or the "Kabalikat sa Pagtuturo Act," which seeks to institutionalize the annual teaching allowance received by public school teachers. He has not only made the teaching allowance permanent but has also increased it to P7,500 for S.Y. 2025-2026 and P10,000 for S.Y. 2026-2027, up from its current amount of P5,000.
