Phoenix outlasts Meralco, earns semis date with Magnolia

MANILA, Philippines: Phoenix Super LPG found a way to overcome adversity as it outlasted Meralco, 88-84 in their sudden death match to advance to the PBA Season 48 Commissioner's Cup semifinals on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The Fuel Masters led by 18 in the third canto, but the Bolts clawed their way back behind their 22-point production in the final period.
