12 dead, 6 hurt in Davao Region landslides

DAVAO CITY: At least 12 persons died and six injured in three instances of landslide in Davao de Oro and Davao City on Thursday, January 18.

Police Regional Office (PRO) 11 identified the fatalities in a landslide in Purok 19, Pag-Asa, Barangay Mt. Diwata, Monkayo, Davao de Oro as Catherine Gumatin, 36, and her children Romel, 1 year-old; Dyana,3; Cristelle, 9; Hanna, 10; and Aileen 12.
