(UPDATE) BARANGAY Ginebra's hard-banging big man Christian Standhardinger seized the lead in the race for the PBA Season 48 Commissioner's Cup Best Player of the Conference (BPC) behind a strong showing toward the tail end of the elimination round.

The Filipino German overtook San Miguel Beer's (SMB) star center June Mar Fajardo from the statistical race after posting an average of 38.0 statistical points (SPs). Standhardinger was lurking behind Fajardo, the PBA's only seven-time Most Valuable Player (MVP) during the first half of the elimination round.
