Dinagat town gets automated weather station

A SITIO in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Tubajon in Dinagat Islands now has an automated weather station (AWS) to help farmers and fishers in the area get real-time, accurate and site-specific weather data.

Richard Tabudlong of Department of Agriculture (DA)-Caraga office and the Adaptation and Mitigation Initiatives in Agriculture program alternate project leader said the AWS will help farmers and fishers of Sitio Bagong Silang cope with extreme weather changes.
