ANGELES CITY: The city government here distributed 6,000 reusable plastic bags at Pampang and San Nicholas public markets in an utter show to intensify its campaign to eliminate the use of plastic as mandated by the city ordinance.

Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. said the city government is looking to distribute 100,000 environment-friendly bags which are to be produced by hired tailors and needlewomen from the Angeleño First livelihood program.
